There are seven members of Felbridge Parish Council who all live in the local area and give their time on a voluntary basis. Full parish council meetings routinely take place in the Committee Room at the Village Hall on the first Thursday of each month at 7.30pm (except for January and August) and planning meetings are scheduled for the third Thursday of each month at 7.00pm.  Additional planning meetings are scheduled for January and August when full council meetings don't take place.  Planning meetings only take place when there are applications to consider. The first ten minutes of each meeting will be made available for parishioners to raise matters of local interest or concern.

Felbridge Parish Council have signed up to the national Civility and Respect Pledge for local councils.

Following each full meeting of Felbridge Parish Council, Minutes will be uploaded to this website to ensure that villagers have access to records of all meetings.  Minutes include information on planning, financial expenditure, Surrey Highways works, correspondence and decisions made.  To view current minutes and an archive going back to 2011 please select the Minutes tab above. Minutes are also posted on the noticeboard at Felbridge Village Hall.

Felbridge Village is located in Surrey near to the border with Sussex.

As well as the parish church, village pub, hotel,  primary school, pre-school and village shop, Felbridge is home to the historic Evelyn Chestnut trees,  Hedgecourt Lake and Nature Reserve and Whittington College and has a well documented history.

The Village Hall is on Crawley Down Road.  The surrounding grounds are a King George's Field with a new children's playground, adult gym equipment, football goals, covered seats, a skateboard ramp, an outdoor table tennis table, basketball hoop and a large expanse of grass bordered by mature trees.  The Hall provides the location for a wide range of clubs and activities. Across the road are the tennis club and bowls club and football field.  A defibrillator is located at the entrance to the Village Hall.

Just off the Copthorne Road is Hedgecourt Lake, the largest lake in Surrey.  It is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The woodland at the west end of the lake is a Nature Reserve managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust, and is well worth the walk around.

The two avenues of Sweet Chestnuts (known as the Evelyn Chestnuts) were planted in 1714 by the Evelyn family who lived at Felbridge Place (now the site of Whittington College).
